Authorities in Clarke County, Alabama, are searching for the man who claims a bigfoot is harassing his family and murdering his outdoor pets. The story first surfaced at the end of May with reports the unidentified victim threatened to kill the cryptid if authorities didn’t intervene.
This report was a follow-up to a story originally posted on the BFRO website. In that report, the man stated the creature was chasing people near his home and killing family pets. The unidentified reporter was said to be a Texas native living in the Clarke County area. BFRO determine the original report to be a Class A meaning there were ‘circumstances where misunderstanding or misidentification of other animals could be ruled out with greater confidence.’
According to the limited information available, the bigfoot harassing the family was approximately eight feet tall and covered with reddish-brown fur. Estimated at around 800 pounds, the man said it smelled like ‘cheese gone bad.’
In addition to BFRO researchers, the local police department would very much like to speak to the person harassed by bigfoot but claim they’ve not received any reports directly. For obvious reasons, researchers are troubled by the man’s threat to kill the creature since it’s possible to mistake a person for bigfoot, leading to a terrible situation.
