The noise arrived before the picture: a howl, followed by the neighborhood dogs.

A March 23, 2017 report carried by Éder Luiz placed the disturbance around midnight as Tuesday, March 21 began, in Santa Terezinha, a neighborhood of Lebon Régis, Santa Catarina. An unnamed resident said he drew back his curtain, saw something outside and reached for his phone.

He said the photograph was indistinct. He also stopped short of identifying what he had seen as a werewolf. The report framed it as a supposed lobisomem and credited Rádio Caçanjurê and Lebon Régis Online, so those names belong to the story’s source trail, rather than being counted as three independent witnesses.

The resident connected his unease with Lent. That association is part of his reaction in the report, not a date stamp supplied by the creature itself.

The account leaves a howl, a glimpse and a picture described as blurred. It supplies no identified animal or subsequent investigation. A photograph can be real as an object and still fail to settle what stood beyond the glass.

The window is what makes this little story work. There is no journey into an abandoned forest, no invitation to meet something strange. Someone opens a curtain at home, and the familiar street becomes difficult to read.
