By the time the phone was recording, the figure was back in the brush.
In a March 18, 2021 report from Jornal Regional, a Realeza resident described a disturbance near his home around midnight between March 12 and 13. Roughly ten dogs had gathered, making enough noise to draw him outside.
He said he saw a creature among the vegetation, with a long hairy arm and a large head. Its outline reminded him of a werewolf. The account places the experience in southwestern Paraná, Brazil, rather than offering a photograph that could establish the animal’s identity.
The man said his recording captured the commotion and a howl after the figure had moved out of sight. A sound recorded on a phone can preserve part of an unsettling moment while leaving its source beyond the frame.
Jornal Regional credits Rádio Clube de Realeza. The story is one relayed resident account; those two publication names do not make two independent sightings.
Its tension rests on a familiar delay. Something outside is clear enough to frighten the person looking at it, then gone by the time a camera can make the experience shareable. What remains is the noise, the description and the gap between them.
