That is the claim described in a daylight trail-camera account. According to a September 6, 2026 staff write-up on Squatchable.com, the clips first surfaced on the YouTube channel Bigfoot Archives. They show what the site describes as a seven-to-eight-foot bipedal figure moving through sunlit forest toward a remote mountain cabin — then the same figure, eight minutes later, on a second camera, still on that same line of travel.

Daylight is rarer, and the people who chase this subject know why. Sun puts color on hair. It puts shadow under the arms. It gives you a chance — not a guarantee, a chance — to see a zipper, a seam, a bounce that belongs to a man in a suit.

Squatchable’s write-up leans hard on that. Staff there say the clips show sun on the figure’s hair, shadow under the arms, and real contrast against green forest. They claim about seven seconds of visible footage across two angles, and they say nothing obvious gives the hoax away.

That last sentence is doing a lot of work. “Nothing obvious” is not the same as “authenticated.” It is the difference between a costume that survives a first watch and a creature that exists. Keep those in separate drawers.

Both clips, according to the same account, show a walker that never stops, never browses, never looks around. A long silence in the middle of a straight line pointed at a house.

That is the conspiracy-curious part, and we will say it plainly: something that knows where the cameras are might use the gap. Something that does not might just be a person taking a leak behind a tree. The footage, as described, cannot tell you which. The gap is a question, not an answer. Anyone selling you an answer from an eight-minute hole is selling.

He came home to the footage. Then the night started.

The trail-cam clips might be the smallest part of this story. According to the account packaged with the videos, the property owner was not even home when the cameras fired.

This is the part that should make researchers swear.

Squatchable reports that two weeks after the footage was posted, the owner went silent. No updates. No follow-up. No answers. Along with him went access to the original files, the cameras, and the location.

Chain of custody: not established in the material available to us. This is a claim about stopped updates, not evidence that anyone is missing.

Without the raw cards, you cannot verify timestamps. You cannot check camera settings. You cannot walk the property for tracks. You are left with circulating copies of circulating copies and a story about a man who vanished from the conversation.

People will tell you that is how “they” shut a case down. People will also tell you that is how a hoaxer exits once the comments get sharp. Both theories fit the same empty inbox. We are not picking a winner.

Cases like this are exactly why serious investigators beg for raw, verifiable evidence and then almost never get it.

Cabin approaches are not new. Verification still is.

Remote cabins sit in travel corridors. They smell like food. They glow at night.
