The howl was outside. The knock brought it to the glass.

On May 25, 2018, 180graus relayed an account from Piripiri Repórter about residents of the Prado neighborhood in Piripiri, Piauí. People inside a house said they heard howling followed by a knock at a window. Once the noise stopped, they looked out and saw a crouched figure rise and run.

The description was unusually specific in one respect: roughly 1.45 metres tall. It was said to be hairy and to move strangely. The report placed the episode about twenty days before publication, without supplying a precise encounter day.

It also mentioned a similar account from elsewhere in the town. Neither description came with a named witness or a documented identification. The article credited the local portal rather than presenting a new investigation of its own.

That leaves the window account as a small, unsettling report. The precision of a height estimate does not tell us how it was made, and a name such as lobisomem does not explain the figure’s identity. Yet its sequence is easy to picture: a sound people might have ignored in the distance, a knock they could not, and a glimpse that lasted only long enough to become a story.
