One witness remembers a muggy morning and a deck. Another remembers running out of the woods. Both accounts reached a public forum in 2016; neither describes a newly documented 2016 encounter.

Denmark: across the lawn

An October 24 post recalls a childhood visit near Denmark, southeast of Green Bay, in July 2005 or 2006. From a deck, the narrator says, a shaggy gray figure appeared beside a tree: pointed ears, yellow eyes and a muscular, upright body. The glimpse lasted roughly ten seconds before it disappeared into brush.

The writer also relays an aunt’s report of growling the previous night. That is family testimony inside one recollection, not a separately recorded witness statement.

Danbury: the retreat

In a May 9 post, another writer recalls being sixteen or seventeen near a family cabin by Long Lake in the Danbury area. The encounter year is not supplied. A reddish-brown figure allegedly crouched by a tree, then charged briefly as the narrator and a cousin fled.

The writer is unsure whether the cousin saw it. The post therefore does not establish two visual witnesses.

Neither account provides a photograph. The common label is dogman; the evidence remains two distinct recollections, separated by place, perspective and an uncertain calendar.
