For the last twenty years, the mystery surrounding the nature and origin of Black Eyed Kids has fascinated and, albeit, confused paranormal researchers. These strange children appear to have the singular agenda of gaining access to a person’s home or vehicle. Their persistence and the accompanying feeling of dread have led to the conclusion that their intentions are anything but harmless. However, one curious element remains, where do they come from?
Up until know, reports of Black Eyed Kids were limited to just the creepy children. Now a new report has surfaced perhaps adding another piece to the puzzle – black eyed adults.
The encounter was published by Week In Weird and reported by a woman only identified as Melissa S., from Pennsylvania.
As a kid, Melissa lived in a beautiful neighbourhood. She’d go door-to-door selling Girl Scout cookies, back when people were less fearful about their little ones wandering the area. Melissa was having a particularly unlucky day selling cookies. When she spotted a red car pulling up to a house, she ran to try to catch the residents and hopefully make a sale.
As she reached the car, three people got out. Two of them were elderly, a man and a woman while the third appeared to be in her thirties. The older pair saw Melissa approaching and became excited. Melissa noted that even from a distance, their eyes appeared black but thought nothing of it. She was focused on making the sale.
As she got closer to the trio, she was suddenly shocked to see the two elderly peoples’ eyes were completely dark, no white whatsoever. They looked down at her with huge smiles, and she was frozen in place, unable to move. After what seemed ages, but was a few seconds, the younger woman said something to the elderly man. By this time, both were staring at Melissa, bent over slightly to get nearer to her.
The younger woman ran up, grabbed their arms and pulled them away. She shouted that she was so sorry to Melissa and rushed them into the house. As soon as they were gone, Melissa could move again and ran home.
She later felt terrible about her reaction, assuming the people had some disorder that made them act so strange. She researched it but found nothing.
Many years later, she was reading about Black Eyed Kids and concluded that her encounter might well fall into the category. But this possible connection raised so many more questions.
Why were these peculiar creatures living in an ordinary neighbourhood and what was their connection to the woman? What, if any, is the link to the Black Eyed Kids?
Melissa may be the first to report adults matching the description of Black Eyed Kids but as a hunch, she probably won’t be the last.
