Fox-Like Transparent Cryptid Seen In Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania isn’t short of strange encounters, mysterious creatures and general weirdness but a new report from a couple in the Ligonier Valley certainly comes as something a little different.

The couple was taking a drive through the area on November 23rd. Around 2 pm, they were some two miles from Ligonier when the driver noticed movement to the right of the road.

As they watched, a creature emerged from the bushes and moved along the front of the vehicle. The driver stopped, around ten to twenty feet away from it. Both were shocked by what they saw, or rather, didn’t see.

The outline of an animal was clearly visible, but there was nothing substantial to the form itself. No markings or fur to speak of although they likened the general shape to that of a fox with four legs, maybe twenty inches in length with another ten or so for the tail.

The passenger got a better look as the apparitious fox moved to her side of the road. According to her account, the creature was transparent, though an area of the body looked like a heatwave with an energy pattern. The transparent cryptid continued to the left side of the road where it vanished.

It’s worth noting that transparent cryptids aren’t all that uncommon.  For example, there’s a group of strange air cryptids that are hard to see generally known as atmospheric cryptids. Also, the “Ningen” is a fascinating sea monster thought to have similar abilities.
