A nature photographer was recently surprised by what he found in his footage from a recent trip to Payson Canyon, Utah. Rather than the usual birds and small mammals, he had caught a rare and elusive cryptid in his shots – Bigfoot.
The photographer was snapping photos of the runoff from a stream running through the canyon when he heard a noise. Following the sound with his camera lens, he saw a dark figure walking on two legs along the wooded hillside of the canyon, just a short distance away.
In the footage, a figure walks through a gap in the woods roughly 200 feet from the photographer. The upper torso, including the head, is distinguishable. The silhouette clearly resembles a typical Bigfoot profile with large, broad shoulders. As it walks, the creature looks to its left, where the photographer was standing. It then turns to the right and vanishes into bushes on the hill, apparently unperturbed by being caught on camera.
Utah is a busy spot for capturing Bigfoot images. Recently, video imagery from both Provo Canyon and American Fork Canyon, show flashing glimpses of strange, humanoid creatures covered in fur.
Sceptics quickly point out this unexpected Bigfoot footage was brief and well suited for a hoax. But, as one reviewer put it; he probably would have left straight away as well after encountering something as large and potentially dangerous as Bigfoot. There’s no shortage of stories where folks were attacked or chased by these creatures.
